This upgrade included the excavation and civil work for the deepening of the existing dam. The upgraded dam is an approximately 25 000 000L, two-compartment, HDPE lined dam complete with under-drainage and leak detection system.<\/p>\n<p>The scope of works also included all penstocks for flow diversion and the associated mechanical and electrial equipment required to pump the dam contents to the inlet works.
